Thundermonkey gives a good description in this thread below of the Halfback cab. It seems that a lot of people swear by em'. But I haven't had the chance to play one yet.

My half-back cab is stellar with my Stiletto.

I never really thought about a half back cab what is it you like about it?

Oops, I missed this and didn't mean to ignore you. I pretty much agree with everything Thundermonkey wrote. I keep my top half closed though, so you can think of it as two, stacked 2x12s. I have 2x Celestion g12-65s in my top half, which is a warm speaker and works well to tame some of the brightness of the Stiletto.
