I say (sort of) because while I base it on the existing V25, I take out the traditional mark channels, and use Mark V25 Crunch mode as the main go to high gain tone.

I'm going to go in a whole different direction option wise compared to what boogie regularly does. Im stripping her down.

I want another 25 watter.

Channel 1= V25 clean and fat
Channel 2= V25 crunch ( Maybe add a switch for a second gain mode (more or less gain then existing crunch but crunch must be there in an unadulterated form. EXACTLY how it is on the V25 now).

Give me an effects loop and a line out and call her done!

I think the Crunch channel on the V25 is a beast all on it's own. It is the channel that if you tell me I can only have one setting, it is the one I am taking. It sounds amazing to my ears. Old school van halen for days.

And how in the world is this channel SOOO freaking loud? I can keep up with my drummer in 10 watt mode on crunch.

This amp would not cause me to sell my V25, but I would definitely pick this one up if they came out under 1000.

The cleans on the V25 to my ears are outrageously good. The clean headroom is good enough to keep up with my drummer (Atleast for the my taste).

This would actually come across a bit like a mini Royal Atlantic. I'd like that.

Well that would be a kiss of death for that idea ;-)

I just think the crunch channel on the V25 is worthy of having an amp built with it as the main sound.

Dare I say I would trade Extreme Mode (which I like and use) for Crunch on the high gain channel.

I just wish they would bring something new out something with the liquid saturation gain of a Mark with the fullness and low end of a recto.

How about a Mark V:25 C (for extra crunch), where channel one stays the same, but channel two is
Crunch (yes two crunches in same amp)
IIC+
IV
(I dropped xtreme but take your pick)

Another option would be to update Express to ++, where
They pick the two best cleans (fat from v:25 would be nice as one of them) and
the second channel would be crunch and another overdrive.
Add Cabclone, shrink it like the v:25 (and leave everything else the same - i.e. all the graphic eq stuff)

I like it!

That is what they did with the Stiletto, crunch cloned to both channels

If they came out with that, or even an express 5:25 with crunch (the mark V25 crunch specifically) on channel 2 I would buy it. Express cleans are ridiculous.
