Wow, that was fast

My local dealer just got in a 5/25 1x10
and a 5/50 1x12

Both extremely versatile, from 5 watt clean
to screaming overdrive, could dial in a boat load of tones

the 5x25 has a 10 inch speaker, but sounds big
has nice 5 watt soft clean, up to F-30 like screamer
but voiced different,

the 5-25 is now sold....I own it :)

Southern Californians, heads up, if you live near Rockit Music
the 5-50 is still there, just arrived this morning

you can thank me later :)

Hows is the distortion channel on the one you own (with contour)? Can you get Rectifier tones out of it? How are the cleans? Warm and big? Headroom?

Spent a bit of time with it in the store, need more time at home

but first impressions
The distortion channel is a screamer and a half,
the Contour does put it over the top, sustains endlessly
the Contour is adjustable, you dial it in
Can dial in great lead tones

The clean sounded great, warm, but with sparkle, wouldn't
describe it as "big", I spent most of the time on the 1x10
the contour on the clean was also adjustable

on 5 watt, was sounding more champ like, not a lot of headroom,
5 watt starts to growl pretty quick

really cool amp

AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!I live on a small islan called britain(scotland),so I have a long time before I get a demo of one.but I will probably be the owner of a
5-50!!!!hell yeh

clips.the masses are dying for clips.I really want to hear the cleans, see how well they really are.and that already infamous gain and contour!!!

I want the 5:50, then stick a Maxon OD-9 in front of it......then put a BBE Sonic Maximizer in the loop........

SWEET! Let us know all about the level of gain and voicing, how contour works, if there is a switching delay between channels, etc...

hal9000 from HCAF? You've got some nice clips with the F100, man.

Yup, I'm the same guy. Thanks. I'm not sure I could part with my F-100, but that Express 5:25 mini-stack is calling my name.

I've been digging the F-50 for ages, and now that I am about to get one, they come out with the Express series, which looks to be as cool, but with a few new features I like.
