Something else to try, and a big reason why this amp sounds great. I threw my modded Marshall ontop of the ED combo and plugged the combo speaker into my Marshall, sounded great. This combo box sounds REALLY good. I tried the same thing with a Lonestar Classic and it didn't sound anywhere this good.
My Marshall sounded tight and thick and no boxy mush anywhere. Now I'm reall intrigued by the Electra Dyne 1x12 and 2x12 extensions cabinets. I usually stay away from V30's but i wonder how one of those cabs would sound loaded with Greenbacks or Scumbacks. Does anyone use one of those cabs? I haven't really seen them anywhere.
