Frank Gambale is still bad-*** guitarist regardless old or new. I was letting my friend listen to his CD and my friend asked: "Which Satriani CD is that?"

"Its not Satch, its Frank Gambale!"

I don't think LAMA is an accredited where all M.I.T schools are.

Perhaps... I would much rather go to LAMA than GIT. If you have the cash to go to either one, are you really concerned with accreditation? I see it as a school for your self enrichment and getting choice studio work...not flipping it to a teaching career.

LOL is that the only thing you think you can do with a degree from M.I.T? LOL...good one...

I've attended both, certificates from both, Masters from Cal Poly.
Each School (MIT, LAMA) have there good and bad points. I found MIT's lesson plans to be more structured to my liking. One is not "better" than IMO. Now I know one can be better for some than other and visa versa.
Now if I could combine the parts of each school I liked...then I bet I would have gone there.......

I must add..I attended LAMA and MIT in the very early 90's and in my opinion some of the instructors at MIT were more qualified and talented at that time than they are now, as for LAMA right now...I don't know I have never gon back.
