THD Hot Plate... which ohm?

You could get the 8ohm Hotplate but then you wouldnt be able to use it on the gfled in any other setting than 8ohm.

I would get the weber but you have to almost double the watt rating for what your amp does. So if you have a 50watt amp you need a 100watt weber etc..

Atleast that is what I read somewhere.
