I just wanted to say say thanks for all the help I have received.

By Saturday I will no longer have a TA or any Mesa Boogie Gear, but who knows, I have my eye on a Quad pre-amp.

Even though I didn't help you, I'm sorry your experience with Mesa didn't go well. If the Quad preamp doesn't work out for you, I wish you the best in your search for tone and hope, one day, you will come back to Mesa.

The Quad is one of the best preamps ever. I have checked lots of amps, and all of them just made me wish to plug into my Quad as soon as possible.

It's not the plug and play kind of thing, it takes some time and patience to discover how to tweak it.
