For sale is a beautiful Terry McInturff Empress. This is by far the finest guitar I've ever owned. Unfortunately, I am fresh out of grad school trying to make it in the film music composition world (film scoring), and money is tight! All of my other guitars are either too cheap to sell, or have sentimental value.

The Empress is a very unique combo of a Strat and LP. The scale length is right inbetween at 25-18". The fretwork is unbelievable as are the inlays; just amazing attention to detail! Very comfortable and easy to play. About the same weight as my EJ Strat.

There are some dings here and there, but only cosmetic. The worst is one by the jack where it dented into the wood a bit. But there are some minor dings around the headstock edge as shown in the pictures, one by the upper horn, and a deeper scratch on the back of the body.

So, here are the specs from Terry's site:
Deep dish carve double cutaway design.
One piece Honduras mahogany neck.
One piece Honduras mahogany body.
East Indian rosewood fretboard.
Set in mortise and tenon neck/body joint.
Joins at the 19th fret.
25-1/8" Scale length.
1-11/16" Nut width.
12" radius arch.
22 frets, medium jumbo.
9 degree headstock pitch.
Curved, single action stainless steel truss rod.
Additional graphite reinforcements.
Unique shock protect circuit on bridge ground. Limits electric current at the strings in dangerous ground fault conditions.
Switchcraft ¼" panel style output jack.
Body cavities coated with Acheson Electrodag 112 conductive shielding paint.
Nitro cellulose lacquer.
Hand signed and numbered.

The trem is by a company called Mann and is absolutely awesome. The pickups are 'noiseless' singles with a Zodiac humbucker, all made for Terry by Dimarzio. In the pics, there is a Dimarzio Pro Track, but I'm putting the original back in when I sell it.

Also included is a super heavy hardshell case.

I'm looking for $1350 Paypaled/ shipped insured or $1250 via USPS Money order.

I really am nervous trading such a nice guitar by mail, plus I need the $, but if you are in NC and have something really cool, I could always sell an amp if I had to to get my by $ wise.
