I'm running a G-System with mine, which has a bit more going on but the effects are very similar to the Nova System. Sounds great. :)

I am running a Nova System in my loop right now and it totally gets the job done. The only issue I had was playing at gig volume it would clip on channel 3 so in order to be able to use all the channels with or without effects and make the levels the same I had to adjust. I ended up putting the level down to 0 and then setting the boost to 10db and leaving it on and had to adjust the send level on the head. After doing this I get pretty much no difference in tone from switching the loop in.
As good as this does sound and get the job done I'll probably save up for a G-System or get a G-Major in a few months and just use the Nova for home practice so I don't have to lug my rack/pedal board back and forth for effects, plus I have some bizarre need for a reverse delay setting. Also, I personally think that the G-System and G-Major sound a little less digital but for the price the Nova is amazing.

Thanks guys thats helpfull. I just don't want to get one and it's not compatable, but it sounds like it will work fine. Better than my digitech 155 anyway!!!!!

I just picked up a Nova System myself. Granted, I use a different amp than you, I've gotta say the sound quality is superb! I've been working on an ambient patch for volume swells that uses vibrato, reverb, delay, some distortion from the analog drive circuit, and an octave up from the pitch section for a hint of "shimmer" a la Edge. I'm still tweaking and perfecting, but even as is, it sounds stellar.

Sadly, since you have the MkV, it doesn't make much sense to run the Nova in front of your amp like I do, and the analog drive circuit is half the magic of the Nova. I don't know how your cash flow is, but maybe check eBay for used G-Systems. That would be a better fit for your amp, in my opinion.

Actually, let me rephrase that... If you plan on using the majority of your effects in Channel 1 set to a clean sound, then the Nova would be an excellent fit!
