TC Electronic G Major Control Question

Hey there folks, what I have is a fairly common setup. I have an Ernie Ball 6166 volume pedal, an Axess Electronics FX1 MIDI pedal, and a TC Electronic G Major FX Processor. I am having trouble using the 6166 as an expression pedal. I've hooked it into the FX1's EXP Pedal #1 Jack, and calibrated it according to the manual, and I think it works alright from that point, the display changed from 000 - 127 as I rock the pedal back and forth...but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the G Major to respond to the changes. I'm looking to use the pedal to control the input volume on the G Major, and occasionally as a whammy pedal. Any pointers??? I'm new to MIDI.

You need to calibrate the expression pedal / controller with the G-Major as well. Read the G-Majors manual, it will explain how to set up a volume pedal, as well as the "whammy" effect.
