tad tubes

does anybody know what the tad tubes are like, iam thinking of putting the 6l6s in a mk4 boogie,or any body any opinions of other types that might be better, ihave jj in now but am always open to experiment with other types , thanks

The TAD 6L6WGC-STR is a very nice tube and I had a pair in my Recto-Verb before I sold it. This is the shorty 6L6. It is geared more to vintage tones but still had alot of bite when I was in modern mode. I really liked this tube. The one I liked a little better was the SED =C= 6L6. Sweet cleans and agressive bite. Either one would be a great choice.

I use TAD 6L6GC-STR in all of my Boogie Power amps as well as Boogie heads and from my experience and application, these tubes sound amazing!! If you are looking for nice bottom end, power and crunch these tubes are def. worth checking out!
