Anyone try these pedals?

Is there enough room inside them to add True Bypass if needed?

Somehow, I ended up with an LSC yesterday. I was selling my Rectoverb and a friend brought over the LSC that I sold to him a while ago.

We worked out a trade, I made out very well, and now I need an OD pedal that can create great Vintage crunches on Channel 1 and really push Channel 2 into Santana like territory.

I was looking at American Musical's website (gotta love the payment plan!) and saw the T-Rex stuff.

Hi Monsta-Tone!
I do own this pedal but didn't felt like opening it up yet..because I use the clean boost as line driver keeping it on almost all the time in front of a Vox-wah 847. So bypassing isn't an issue on this one.
Switching on the overdrive gives you the vintage tube-screamer tone, the mixing option is nice and makes it versatile in front of my LSC.
Well, the amount of overdrive it gives you is somehow limited... but always enough on channel 2 in my opinion...
I would suggest to check on the Xotic BB+. It has a true bypass, TS on the first channel and a modern (Plexi??!!) option on the second channel. For me it's even more versatile and a wider range of overdrive is available, especially on the second channel. It's going right into the distortion field, Hendrix fully available...

Enjoy!

Hey thanks Ralfi,

I ended up getting a TS-808 reissue, but am still looking for something to go with it. I figure that if I have 2 OD or Distortion pedals, between the 2 I should be able to cover a lot of territory.

If I already have a TS, would you still think the BB+ is a good match?

You're welcome!

I find it useful to have an additional boost-only option especially for the channel 2 without fiddling around the TS 808, so I tried the Möller and the BB+ in line with the TS808.

They both have a sparkling clean boost.
The difference between them is the range of overdrive. You get more gain out of the BB+ and built-in compression in 2 modes.

The Möller itself sounds very much like my TS808. Putting them in line gives you SRV-sound on channel 1. At least with a strat.
On channel 2 with humbuckers you should be able to cover Carlos screamin' Mesa... I'll give it a shot later.

Rock on!
