Swapping cabinets.

I have a DC3 and my Maverick 1x12 will arrive tomorrow. The Mav is in a birdseye maple cabinet. Will it fit in the DC3 cab? What about a Mk 1 1x12 cab?

Is it correct that a 1999 Mark 1 reissue cabinet will accept any Mesa short amp from the Mark series, Caliber series, or the DC series? And the Maverick 1x12 as well?

I'm hoping I can just swap the chassis with no mods to a Mk 1 cab that I'm probably picking up since I'd rather not take the maple cab to gigs.
