Subway Blues - anyone use a treble booster with one of these

I have been using a subway blues with a strat and a barber direct drive and loving the sound that I get. However I find the amp to be a bit dark when used with a Les Paul type guitar and have been wondering if a treble booster would be a good thing. Not really after a different sound - just a tad more top end and EQ pedals don't seem to cut it.

Any opinions?
