Hello...
well i'm going to make an stupid question of mark ii c+. Ok i'm going to own one of this probably but there's one thing that i don't know about that amp, when my friend which owns mark up gain control he don't have the necesary gain... then he have to up Volume1 but then when he switch to clean channel it obviously is a crunchy channel...Is this normal in that amp? This could be the reason because petrucci owns 3 of them to make the performances.. but i don't know..

plz let me know..

cya and thank you people

if you have volume 1 at 10, the clean channel will be a crunch channel, and the amp will not balance between both channels, and that's very normal.

Try this setting:
Vol 1 : 6
Treble 7-10 pull
Bass 2 pull
Mid 4
Master, as high as you like and pull if you like.
Lead drive. 9- 10
Lead master: between 2 and 3 to balance between the channels and pull.
Prescence 5---- to whatever you feel like.

You don't say what cabinet or guitars you're using, but this setting works great with humbucked guitars, and 4x12 cabs.
It can be a tad bright at clean, but high treble will give you more gain or distortion at the lead channel.
Go ahead.

You will need to tweak this amp for a while to get used to it.

Tony
