Studio 22+ 6L6?

Can I put 6L6s in a Studio 22+? Anybody else tried this? Thanks!

The 22 & 22+ are 2xEL84 amps.
The EL84 is a 9-pin tube.
The 6L6 is an 8 pin tube.
They are not interchangeable unfortunately.

You can go the opposite direction and use an EL84 in a 6L6 amp if you use Yellow Jackets though.
