D'Addario's mostly for consistency, Ball's for a change, Love the feel of DR's, hate the consistency, I'm ready to try Blue Steel's again, had good experiences with them! Have'nt tried the Boomer route, something about the packaging! Elixir's are nice on Acoustic's, where string changes are less frequent!

After 35 years I still use Ernie Ball Super Slinky (.009-.042). I've tried other types and gauges but always come back to the Slinkies. Last night I bought a half dozen sets at my local store and the sales guy exclaimed "Man, are you still using those little strings". I told him that my smaller hands and fingers need all the help they can get.

Dean Markleys for me...nickel steels...since about 1982. Flirted a bit with GHS boomers...maybe some Fender Bullets...but always back to the Markleys.

Various gauges for different guitars: Strats 10-46 Les Paul/SG/PRS 9-42 or 9-46

On my acoustic: Elixers....12's or 13's, I think
