STR 420 Coke bottles vs straight cylinder tubes?

Anyone know what the differences are between the STR 420 Coke bottles and the cylindrical models? Thanks in advance.

Are you talking coke bottles as in the ST shaped tubes like REALLY old 6L6's and the big 5U4G rectifier tubes? The only 420's I have ever seen are just regular 6L6 tubes but have the silver flashing really low on the sides and clear tops.

Got a quad from these, green.
But it's been a long long time I've not played with it. Pretty nice sound if I remember, but nothing compared to the =C=.

Mesa was making 420`s in both sizes.Coke bottle {rigt}was changed after period of time for classic shape {left} of 6L6 GC as you can know today.Right in the midle is best tube what you can find on market as NOS.I made quad with a pair of 420`s on V7,V8 of and pair of Winged C`s on V6 and V9.It sounds unbeliveable.....
