If the volume is higher than half way up then it just makes a staticy noise and the notes don't come out. Could it be that I have to change the tubes or something else?

back in november i bought a brand spakin new Stiletto Deuce head,took it home plugged it in and nothing.turns out it was a cracked preamp tube.the store i got it from replaced the tube,and MESA sent me a couple tubes free of charge.your amp has the same symptoms i did ,check your preamp tubes

The tops of them were red, so I replaced them. I turned it and no sound. Something started smoking so I turned it off. Now I have no idea what to do.

Now it won't even turn on. Is that a blown fuse or is the amp just dead?
