i'm trying to reinstall speakers into my tremo-verb combo. but all of the studs spin once the nuts have gone about 1/4 of the way down. i've even tried taking each nut and going around to each stud and that didn't work. any help would be appreciated more than you know. thanks..... :?

Re-secure or replace the studs.
I'm not trying to be a jerk or insult you but since you had to ask I would STRONGLY recommend that you find somebody that's a little bit more handy to fix it for you.

i don't consider it an insult because i'd probably tell somebody the same thing if they asked me. thanks for the reply.

The speaker screws on my ROV 50.2 have philips heads on the front. Maybe your TOV does also. If so, remove the grill, and use a screwdriver on the front.
Or, you could back the screw or stud out about 1cm and put a small amount of epoxy under the head and reset it.
Or, consider this;
I like having the option of removing my grill without tools, so I removed all of the grill attaching screws (from the inside) and put a full length piece of black foam weather stripping tape along the top edge of the grill. Now I simply wedge the grill in place between the cabinet bottom and underside of the brain box.
This makes servicing either side of the baffle much easier.
