So the other day I was messing around in the back of my amp and accidently bumped channel 2 to A + B without knowing it. Then I when I was playing I noticed the volume on channel 2 was really low. I also noticed my tubes were extra hot... especially the recto tubes. The amp probably ran for 15 min max. Half that time was in standbye.
I don't think I should have hurt the amp, maybe shortened the life of the tubes a little, but the OT and electronics should be fine from my intuition. Am I correct??? There was still a load on the amp from speaker A, but a large portion of the current was going out on speaker B to ground through the shorting jack, since there was no resistive load on it.
