Solo switch

Ok, I could read the manual, but I am too lazy. my solo button on the switch of my DR does nothing. What do I need to do with the knobs on the back to make it work? Right now both knobs are set to foot switch.

Do you have the loop hard-bypassed?

How do you have the output and solo controls set?

BTW- you really should take the time to read your manual.

Can you give us more info as to how the knobs are set? As long as the Solo control is set higher (louder) than your master whenever you hit the solo button it should instantly overide to that volume level.

Ok, I will read the manual. I have read it once, but I played around with the settings last night and the solo button worked, but the rest of the amp sounded crappy when the solo was not engaged.
