Note that a forum member asked me for first dibs on this cabinet months ago. Jim if you still want it..here it is :) I will give Jim a day or 2 to respond and let me know if he still wants it before I sell it to anyone else.

Up for sale is a Mesa 2x12 RoadReady cabinet. This is basically a 2x12 half-back made into a roadcase. Has the removeable back on the top section. This cabinet is loaded with 2x Mesa C-90's and they are in perfect working order. As you can see in the pics, this cabinet has seen alot of use, but it is in perfect working order aside from the jack as described below.

The original input jack was defective when I got the amp so I had it replaced with a "standard" 1/4" input jack. Only the jack on the right side of the input panel works...the others are not connected.

Price is $325 + shipping costs.

you can go in your outbox and delete them before they get sent  really you can! :)

I figured that out just in time to delete a dozen or so to stop the giant Spam-wave that was headed right for Jim

Jim i've been trying to locate a replacement speaker as I indicated I would, even tho it is evident that this happened due to shipping damage..I had/have no intention of "blowing you off".

The pictures I posted here of that cab plainly show the condition the cabinet was in when I shipped it out. There were no speakers "floating inside the cabinet". I gave you detailed answers to each one of the numerous questions you asked about the cabinet before you bought it, and each answer was 100% honest and accurate to the best of my knowledge. None of the speakers nor the cabinet had any issues at all other than what I plainly described to you in PM's and pictures. If the cabinet arrived in the condition you described then the only possibility is that it was handled like a an indestructible object by UPS. Did you happen to call them and mention this?

I think you should add another entry to your list of Do's & Don't For Forum Buy/Sell...
If you have reason to believe the item you purchased may have been damaged during shipping, notify the shipping company IMMEDIATELY. This would include subtle hints such as speakers floating in the cabinet, speaker & grill holes ALL stripped out, and the speaker not working when it left here functioning fine (as I also told you in a previous PM).

I have bought and sold many thing using online forums and have never had any issues as either a buyer or a seller. This includes the 2 amps, 3 or 4 speakers etc that I have sold here.

i can't add anything... the thread got deleted.
lame.

the last pm i got from you was june 17th.

it doesn't matter.
i'm done dealing with people on this board.
for the last month or so, its been nothing but trouble.

Jim I am very sorry to hear about the bad experiences you've had here. And even more sorry to be a part of one.

I would like to reiterate that the cabinet was fully functional (and completely intact) when it left here. I realize that doesn't help you any... but I was not trying to pull a sham on you.

Let me know how much you had to pay for the speaker and I will reimburse you via PayPal.

In my view, I see that this will work out totally in a favorable way to Jim. It is my hope that he accepts the Paypal re-imbursment and lets the ill-will fade.
This board is allbeit new to me, it is a nice place to be involed in. And Jim, you are a part of this place. Stay in the game. The frustaration of this sale I can certainly understand, but look, as it appears to me that you will get your money back for the troubles. And so I would say, even a frusting buying experience works out well in the end here.

To AJ_Newkirk, I applaud you for your fine conduct. I appreciate your demeanor.

kindest regards to the both of you.

I agree that this board is a great place. In fact I no longer own any Boogie gear thanks to a major issue with an amp being butchered by an authorized repair center during a warranty repair - then getting left in the cold by Rich at Mesa Boogie. But I continue to come here because it is such a great board.

Jim is a well respected member here, and I certainly understand his frustration. I'm not trying to pass the buck here..but I do want Jim to know the cabinet wasn't like that when I shipped it out. As evident in the pics above (in the initial post of this thread) the speakers and grill were intact when I had the cabinet..but UPS can wreak havoc when they handle gear.
