No way, the .22+ is great! Probably do need some "alone time" with it to get to know it better without holding up band practice. Definitely will be used though.
Nothing to do with this, I just saw an SOB cheap and wondered if it's possible to "make it into" the original Mark amp. Which obviously has very little in common with the .22+. Basically a loud, heavy, one channel lead amp. Or a clean amp if that's how you like it.

If its cheap,just buy i.It is fairly close to a MKI as it is.Get it re-capped with good quality caps,not the asian crap.Get some good old stock tubes,have it biased and you will likely like it as is.I had one for years and loved it.It got stolen,I didnt give it up.The only thing I didnt like about it was the limit control,but you can dial it out.
