- SO yes I did search and there are a lot of topics of folks speaking about "reborn" DR's or reborn vs this and that but what exactly does reborn indicate. What makes that special or not so much?
So what makes a DR "Reborn"

It is a 'series II' update of the 3-channel Rectifiers, introduced in 2010 IIRC. Advertisements said "Rectifier Reborn!", hence the "Reborn" name.
The 'Reborn' Rectifiers addressed a number of user concers. The most notable improvements include a better clean channel, a serial effects loop (instead of a parallel one), and channel-specific wattage choice. The new version was also voiced somewhat brighter than the original 3-channel Rectos, which many players like but some don't.
