Slaving Question...

How does one properly slave a Mark IV into the 2:90 w/o destroying the head? I am not sure how to connect the head to poweramp and how to setup the cabs. I read the Mark IV manual about slaving but it left me a bit confused...

I sometimes "Slave" my 2:90 to my mark IV. Here's my setup: Cable out of Mark IV Slave output jack to Yamaha UD Stomp. Two cables out of UD Stomp(left and right output jacks, for stereo),to the left and right line inputs of the 2:90. I turn the slave volume control knob almost full bore. That's it. Works great. Don't forget, you ABSOLUTELY MUST keep a speaker load (or attenuator/dummy load) connected to the speaker output of the Mark IV while using the slave out connection.
