Single Recto Clip in Raw Mode

I finally had the time to get a sound clip of my Mesa recorded with my computer. I have recorded with many other amps over the years but hadn't had my recording rig set up since I got the Mesa. Basically this is my Single Recto Head (EL34) & 2x12 Recto Cab in Raw Mode with my Blues Driver slamming the front end. I used one SM57 on axis just to the right of the center of the speaker. This is my first attempt. I didn't have the volume cranked super high since I decided to record it at midnight in the room right next to where my 9 month old son was sleeping

Any thoughts on this are welcome!

not bad dude....nice and warm. I had less luck with EL34's when I had my single recto. But I always liked playin around with the raw mode. Never tried an overdrive in front though. I think that will be the next experiment.

Nice and crunchy. I like the tone quality of the ROV. 57's do a nice job on guitar amps. Thanks for the post!
