Simul-class with JAN Phillips 7581A's

How should I order these for running all 4 in my IIC+ in Simul-Class mode?? As a matching Quad? or 2 Duets? And if the Duets what should I ask for?

Tell the tube dealer what you got for an amp, and see what he suggests...I'll guess you end up with 2 matched pairs

FWIW, the quad I bought has 2 very rattley tubes. They cab't used in a combo because you can actuallt hear the filaments rattling. It sucks bigtime for $200 a quad!

Wow, that sucks. I got a quad in 2002 from Ned @ triode electronics and they are flawless. This guy matches his tubes so strict that even after 6 months a duet of EL34 and 6L6 Svets still draw the exact current on all four tubes.

It sounds like you need a little head !!!!
