I have previously owned a 2:90, 2:100, 20/20, and a 50/50, but my new 295 is my favorite so far! I am on the verge of pairing it with a Triaxis since I am G.A.S.-sy right now.
The Class A mode really reminds me of the Peavey 50/50 EL84 amp I used to have, and the Simul-Class mode is just super rich, juicy, and 3D. I guess what I am loving so much about it is the 6L6/EL34 combo which none of the aforementioned amps had.
I am curious how the 295 fits into the Boogie legacy. I have no idea when the original production run was for the 295, but I'm guessing it was approx. 1986-1991ish? If anyone can correct this I'd love to know. 8)
If it's from that era is it possibly similar to the Simul-Class power section of the Mark III, or is the 295 its own unique design?
