Silver tolex dual recto?

Are the ones with cloth grill and silver tolex a special edition or something like that? I'm bout to get one of craigslist for $800 with an orange 2x12 v30 cab. Not bad I thought.
Just curious the story behind the recto..

Probably just a custom ordered head. Congrats on the purchase if you get it, sounds like a great deal if it is all in working order. Custom optioned heads cost more money than standard heads.

That's exactly what it looks like.. I was hoping it was a custom job. The guy just had it serviced by a local shop. New tubes and all. This guy didn't know what he had..

Just ordered a "custom" roadster head myself. To pick the tolex color (and a few minor other things) only costs $180 more than the bog-standard black. I'm surprised more people don't go this route, as that's minor compared to the purchase price.

I've got a silver tolex Single Rec. It looks great. This coming from a black only tolex guy. All my other amp heads are black, but the silver really works on the Recto.
