well, it was no trouble at all..
i hired a local luthier, to do the nitro finish....
super thin, custom color....

i ordered the pieces from USACG one at a time...
neck pocket was perfect.
neck was perfect.
it had a ........'tone', to it, a vibrant tone, when i would tap it...
the warmoth neck we did that to, sounded dead as a doornail.
the body, was ultra light, wonderful feel to it as well.
i bought all the pieces parts, after the body cured, took a couple of days to slap it all together, then over the course of a few weeks, we tweaked a little here, a little there, and now i'd say it plays better, than ANY of the wall strat or strat clone, i've ever played.
we rolled the edges of the fingerboard, to give it a 'broken in' feel.
it just turned out wonderfully, i'd not hesitate to do it again.
in fact, i want to build a tele next, and then possibly a soloist-style body with deep cutaways, an ibanez lo-pro trem, and a 24 fret neck with an ibanez-style access joint.....
