Series 2 Single rectifier

Does anybody know when the series 2 single rectifier was introduced. I am looking at one on ebay, it was new in 2006, the guy reckons it is a series 2. He is asking about £750 english pounds. £1600 english pounds new so might be worth a look at

has the series 2 got the reverb control on the front

Does it have the 6L6/EL34 bias switch on it? The series 1 didnt have that I believe

Yes it does have the EL34 switch on the back. I think you are correct about that
