I have a 1978 Mark series amp that I got on ebay a few years ago. It has a 15" speaker, eq, reverb, etc. and sounds very nice. I'm not sure it is all original, as it has an effects loop (was that an option back then). Does anyone know whether this is a Mark 1, or ? I was told it is a "1b" - though there's very little info out there on the web about this. It has a big, big sound :) ...and I long for the day when I can play it at it's full potential (i.e. not in my house). Not that I'd ever part with it, but - given it's fair cosmetic (some torn tolex, but otherwise ok) and good mechanical/sonic condition - any idea what it's worth?

Thanks in advance and sorry for the newb post!

I think that they just wanted to say it was a 1x15 combo. Serial numbers start with the letter B.

The 1x12 combos and heads have serial numbers that start with the letter A. That's all.
