I tried to search this, but did not get what I was looking for. I know you can pay $150 to get your loop coverted to Serial, but is there a way to do this on your own? I assume my DR has a parallel loop and I wanted to see what a Serial loop would sound like. The only effect I am running currently in the loop is an EQ. I tried running the EQ and my noise gate in the loop, the noise gate did nothing. When I put it back out front, it worked fine.
If you do not know how to do this conversion, how should I have my send and rec knobs set for the EQ? I want the best sound and I think I am missing something currently.
