Hey all, I blew another fuse on my V. I purchased it new last July/August. I blew a fuse right away due to a bad tube. I could see it arcing. After getting a new set and replacing the fuse, it has been good since.

I was playing tonight and the output dropped. A few seconds later the fuse went. I replaced the fuse and the power it up. Flipped it to on and couldn't see anything obvious with the tube. I suspect it is tube related though.

Anyone else had the same issue?

a power tube is wonky. you should test them, and I might not play the amp for if you blow another fuse you may take an internal component out along with a tube.

That's my plan. I have three other good mesa tubes of the same color. I will swap them out with the others.

I had my fuse blow last night. I put in another and it powered up but no volume in channel 1 and 2 but got volume on 3. Thought it would be a preamp tube but then I taped the rectifier tube and it immediately blew the fuse again. Tried a couple more fuses and they blew. Pulled out the rectifier tube then turned on power and the fuse held. All channels work ok at 90watt setting now. Called Mesa and they are sending a new rectifier tube. Seems I have read several problems with this tube.
