I've been hearing a lot that using the "V" shape on your EQ is good for playing by yourself but not so great with a band and is also considering scooping your mids when you use the "V" shape. Isn't the 240 and 2200 sliders on the center line? so how is that considered scooped mids? for it to be scooped shouldn't the 240/2200 sliders be below the center line. I'm just wondering because I don't want my guitar to get lost in the mix when I'm playing with my band. Do the 240/2200 sliders have to be over the center line :?

6600: Highs
2200: High mids
750: Mids
240: Low mids
80: Lows

By scooped mids, it usually means that the 750 (middle) slider is set below the center line, or below all the other sliders for that matter.
