Up for sale is my year-old Schecter USA Custom Shop guitar. A truly amazing instrument, but it's just not for me. Here's the specs and some pictures:
Mahogany C-1 body, least possible amount of wood taken out for the electronics cavity.
Gold TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge.
Master Volume, Master Tone (with push/pull coil tap), 3-way pickup switch.
Gold Schaller strap locks.
Burled/Flamed/Quilted Maple top...incredible!! It creates a natural binding down the sides and is a 1/2-inch thick by the neck.
DiMarzio Air Zone (bridge) and Air Norton (neck) (both black) on black pickup rings. When the pictures were taken it had Seymour Duncans, which are NOT included in the sale.
Mahogany neck with ebony fretobard and neck volute for added strength.
Heelless set-in design...absolutely no resistance to the 24th fret. I can use my index finger on the low E string on the 24th fret without trying at all.
24 frets with burl maple dot inlays and flame maple neck binding.
Gold Sperzel locking tuners.
Set up with D'Addario 10s, but I can set it up for whatever you'd like.
Includes hardshell case.

Since these pictures were taken about a year ago upon its arrival, its Seymour Duncan pickups have been replaced (as I said...again, they are NOT included in the sale) and the guitar has sustained a couple scuffs, which I can take pictures of if needed. There are 2 clear-coat dings on the tip of the headstock, smaller than a pen tip, and some of the hardware has oxidized a little; both imperfections are expected.
This guitar is a work of art and is selling for $5000 obo.
Trades will be considered: Suhr's, Tom Anderson's, Tyler's, Xotic's, Ibanez AT300 + cash, EB/MM Silhouettes + cash, any Strats + cash...you get the idea. No Les Pauls or guitars with locking tremolos...that's the basic parameter. Mainly Strat style guitars.
Thanks all, and please no comments about the high price of the guitar (hence the obo). I'm aware that this is currently a buyer's market and that the name Schecter and anything above a grand aren't usually seen together. Contact Schecter for a quote or play a USA Custom Shop and you'll understand the high price.
