nice man  , that guitar is quite black

ps. on the guitar whats the bit on the strings behind the nut for?

i'm entertaining the idea of getting a schecter 7 string. i have one of their 6 strings and it gets more playtime than my les paul. are their 7 string necks similar to their 6 string necks?

It's tape to eliminate string ring out.

The guitar I have is the new Slim Line Series so the neck and body ante thinner. But their regular Hellraiser 7 strings have the identical necks as the 6 string guitars. That's actually why I like Schecter: their necks feel so damn good!

SO AWESOME!
Even though I have no $$$s and I don't really play metal, this vid makes me want a 7 string!!!

you can always remove the high E string and string it up with the last 6 of a 7 string set

Believe me, I've considered this. Of course, using a much heavier weight of string will basically accomplish the same thing! I might just do that yet, but it would be good to have pickups more suitable for metal in one of my axes and I don't think either is up to the task. Either way, I may have one guitar tuned in drop B and the other in E standard. We'll see.
