I have no reverb at all. I have changed the tube and still no reverb. Everything looks good on the tank, I did change the RCA cables. I now have reverb if I shake the tank, but none through my guitar. I also noticed a crack in a yellow componet by the reverb tube. I'm not sure what the part is, but it is about the size of a 1/2 watt resistor...any ideas??

So I know that there are not any signal to the input side of the tank...I tested with another good tank, changed V4 and nothing..is the part that looks like a resistor a JFET?

I had a similar problem on my roadster from the factory. Changed tubes, still didn't work. I didn't have another tank to try, but the shop I bought it from took it back and sold me their other one and sent the first one off to be fixed. When it came back they told me a component had failed. Not sure which part, but An authorized tech would be able to fix it I think. FWIW, my first roadster was purchased around May of 09, not sure of manufacture date, while the second one is from mid summer and manufactured no earlier than May or June I suspect. The difference in serial numbers was about 200.

Sorry I don't have any more to contribute. Maybe if you posted a picture of the component in question, the more knowledgable forum members could identify the mystery component.

Is the yellow one a poly film capacitor? It says 1u C42 on the board (looks like what it says) Does that sound right a 1uf in that spot? It is right beside V4, and has a small "crack" in it. Could this be the culprit? Sorry I couldn't post a direct link.. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=508160562562446&set=a.508160272562475.119767.475569842488185&type=3&theater

Got some more info on this...like I said it is yellow, I assume it is a polycap, it says +35 then it has 105K then it has the number 0621......anyone know the values on it? I am not familiar with these...
