Hello

I have a small question... :)

What differences are between Roadster and Road King II? I know, RK II have more watts, two FX loop, and more options at the back...
Sound and tone is the same, or RK II have other circuit?

I ask because I saw this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bAqGDQLK2k

RK II on video has very smooth lead, my Roadster have the typical Dual recto fuzzy sound.
How is this possible? I thought that are approximately the same amplifiers

Ok, but sound on the video is totally other then sound of rectifiers. And sound is made in preamp, so how is it possible that the distortion is so smooth?
In my opinion, the poweramp do not have much impact on finally sound

Nothing special sounding there to me, sounds like a Rectifier.

My Roadster is very capable of smooth leads, especially ch 3 Vintage tube rectified.

Maybe your tone problem is somewhere in the rest of your gear (guitar, pickups, speakers etc)

I have engl 212, and sound is too fuzzy. Good for numetal, but nothing else. No matter whether lead is thru tube or diode rectifier.

I using tube rectifier on 3channel and diode rectifier on 4channel, modern mode... A difference between tube and diode rectifiers is very small. Still too fuzzy :(
