I read about a mark v user with a similar problem, although his was the reverb unit in the amp.
I recently traded me triaxes and 20:20 poweramp for a roadster 2x12. i love the sound but im getting a vibrating buzzing sound that sounds like a loose screw or washer or something inside the amp.Especiall when you the A string. This gets quite load when a clean sound is dailed in or a fat chanel with some bass dailed in, not too much. A 6l6 died yesterday, so I thought its a good time to find the vibration, so I took all the tubes out, and firstly I found that there was a screw behind the 6l6 next to the 5u4g, that was half out, so I tightened it, dont have a clue what its for, then I just tapped the chasis, with all the tubes still removed, at the botom, and it stil sounds like something is vibrating, so it'll will definatly still vibrate during normal use.
Is this kind of mechanical vibration normal? and what's the purpous of the half-in screw, which I've now tightened?
the vibrating sound is realy annoying, you cant record with that hapening?
Any one got a similar problem or clue what it could be?, How can I fix this?

Usually it's a power tube that rattles so not sure what it might be on yours. If it is a combo then the 'half-out' screw is to push against the top of the cabinet and help keep vibrations down.

Thanks for the info. yes it is the combo
So I tightened the screw till its nice and snug, Im just waiting for some replacement tubes, so that I can stick them in.
Hopefully the vibration noise will be gone. any other combo user have vibration issues?
It obviously more audible with a clean sound?
Thanks

How old is the Roadster? The reason I ask is when I bought mine it was brand new and made that vibration noise you're talking about. After a couple weeks of playing though, it disappeared. I figured that the combo just need to break in.
