I was messing around with the different factory tone settings and found something quite alarming. In their manual there is a setting called "Skinny Skank." I dialed this setting in exactly as it was listed and found it to be completely unusable in that it is too quiet. Even with the output volume nearly cranked (and leaving everything else just as the manual suggests), I found the tone to be not even loud enough to use in a band situation with a drummer. Anyone else care to take a second and try this out and tell me if you are encountering the same with your Roadster. Either their factory suggestion is really off the mark in terms of usability, or I've got a tube(s) on the way out. Everything seems to be running fine so I'm guessing it is just a really bad setting.

Skinny Skank:

Gain: 11:00
Treble: noon
Mids: 8:00
Bass: 1:30
Presence: 11:30
Master: 9:00

50 watts, tube rectification, bold, channel 1 clean

Never mind. I got annoyed, suspected I had a weak driver tube in V-6, swapped it, and the factory settings Mesa listed seem to be usable after all. I normally run the channel master volume much higher, so I never really noticed. In the manual, most settings clean call for the channel masters to be before noon. I've been running my clean master volume at around 1-ish.
