Hi there Boogie friends.. I need some help setting up my rig. I've been playing forever (25yrs) and have never really got into the rack system thing.. I did some research and found out that the Roadster can be switched via the Gmajor but only 2 of the channels. This works for me as I only use 2 of the channels for now. I Use 2 and 3 so I can get a clean and a dirty beside each other. Now the help I need is how I would go about setting this sucker up. I am doing some reading but am totally clueless. I would like to be able to set up some presets that I already have and be able to click my ground control to make the magic happen.. Any help would be more than appreciated.. Thanks

Terry

You can try the "Amp Gizmo" by RJM Music. Basically the "Amp Gizmo" is the only thing that can switch all four Roadster channels, tuner mute, solo boost, FX loop, and reverb other than the stock switch that comes with your amp. It's just a simple programable MIDI switcher. You can go on youtube and watch a tutorial of how it works with the TCE G-system, but I think it would work with the G-Major/Ground control combination as well. Just search 'g system amp gizmo mesa' and the video should come up. The "Amp Gizmo" itself costs $350 and the "Mini Amp Gizmo" (same thing just smaller) is $298, I think... I know that wasn't really what you were asking for, but suggestions never hurt! haha Rock on and good luck to ya!
