i have 2 cables for my roadster foot pedal, one is thicker than the other .both have same connectors .the thin one came in the box with my amp,the thick one i grabbed from guitar center when i bought a demo model ,which i returned and kept the cable . which is better and will it hurt the amp to use the thick one ,it seams better quality...thanks cc

Bro,

What you have are simply two DIN5 Midi cables... These are generic cables that can be bought from any computer, music, or online store and not specific to MESA. The DIN5 is a universal connection that allows music instruments to be interfaced... thus the MIDI acronym

MUSICAL INSTRUMENT DIGITAL INTERFACE

Hope this helps...

PS: at least you have a back up should one go bad... though they are usually pretty robust... thick or thin
