This is how I achieved pretty good crunch from my Roadster:
Brit mode, Spongy, Diodes, 100 watts, EL 34s
Master @ 9 o'clock
Presence @ 1:30
Bass @ 2 - 3 o'clock
Mid @ 11 o'clock
Treble @ 1:30
Gain @ 12 - 3 o'clock
If anyone knows of any other ways to use the amps EQ to achieve some good crunch, please share. I like using the Brit mode, because you can still retain a lot of clarity and articulation in your crunch rhythms, while rolling up to bass (very responsive in this mode) to your liking.
Let me know what you think.
