Hi, some weeks ago i posted a question about what 2x12 cab for my RK beside my roadking 4x12 cab at home . An i finally had a chance to put my hand on a used recto 2x12.

But now i don't really know how to set up the 2 cabs together (well 3 cabs in reality cause of the 2 separate sections on the RK 4x12) with the right output jack on the roadking? Normally i have the 2 8 Ohms(bank A & B) on the back of my RK plug into eatch input of the RK 4x12 (8 Ohms for the C90 side and 8Ohms for the V30 side).

With the 2x12 recto, that i gonna play in tandem with the V30 side of the 4x12, i don'n know where to plug it? one on the 8 Ohms out and one on the 4 Ohms out. Or both of them in one 4 Ohms eatch??

Some help would be greatly apreciated!

Here's an exampl that may work...

Let's say you use Channel 1 and 2 for cleans running the open back section of the RK 4x12 Cab. Plug into the 8 Ohm Jack B "open back" on the cab (left hand side, bottom jack), set the desired speaker channel to A on the amp and plug the 1/4 in jack into the 8-16 Ohm Jack Channel A on the amp.

For Channels 3 and 4 for distortion/leads for the RK 4x12 and Recto 2x12 Cab together. Set the desired speaker channel to B on the amp. Plug into the 8 Ohm Jack A "closed back" on the cab (left hand side, top jack) for the RK 4x12 and plug the 1/4 in jack in the 4ohm jack channel B on the amp. Then into the 8ohm "in" on the 2x12 cab and plug the 1/4 in jack in the 4ohm jack channel B on the amp. This should give you a proper impedance match up.

Hope that helps.

Ok thanks clutch71, your the best. I'm gonna try that out. And what about the paralleled our jack on the back of the recto 2x12? Another thing i shouldn't care since what you show me seems to be the right way!

I actually tried a RK similar to the way I described once. Not sure how the parallel works. I'll have to differ that to someone else. Sorry.
