I am getting a Road King and i was thinking about running my 4X12 Recto Cab for the overdrive channels and using a 2X12 cab loaded with EV's for my clean channels.

What cab should i use for the EV's, I was thinking about using a 2X12 Recto cab since it is the same width as my 4x12.

Since you can have dedicated cabs for the channels, I would suggest an open back cab for the cleaner channels and a closed back cab for tighter distorted channel sounds. I feel like clean sounds benefit from the open airy design, sound less constricted, etc. whereas if you're going to use a heavy sound you're gonna want the tightness. Just a suggestion!
