RKI vs Roadster

my local GC has a used road king I and a new roadster... i'm a little torn... any advice?

What type of music do you play? I just swapped a Roadster/cab back because I don't play high gain music and I think the RK with it's open back and C90s will be better for me.

its the road king head. i play alternative rock, nothing really heavy, nothing really light. i use a rectifier 4x12 so the open/closed back thing doesn't come into play

Go for the Roadster. I think it has better cleans too.

yeah, i was just a liked the idea of havin EL34's for leads but im' kinda wary of used gear.

The Cleans on the RK I are not up to Par IMHO...I'd upgrade from the RK I to the II or Roadster for the cleans improvement alone. But that's just me ...as a clean tone is most important to me, the recto/distortions, 2nd.
