I have just ordered the Van Amps Sole-Mate reverb. It uses a real Accutronics Type 8 tank which should sound a bit more lush than a Type 4 which is what Fender uses in its amps. It isn't tube driven like the following products, but it sounds very nice in the video below & is highly rated.. so it should be a great low profile unit for a cool $300.

My 2nd choice was the vintage reissue Fender '63 tube reverb that runs $500, its a smart lookin' unit. (FYI, the other players are the Guyatone for $500 & the Soldano Space Box that includes a vibrato for $600.)

I almost happy with the TC Electronic Nova Reverb. Even though its one of the best digital reverb effects in small format that I could find, it still isn't lush enough. I don't think I need 18 choices. Plate is one of my favorite types but a good spring is hard to beat. The NR-1 will probably go back for credit. I did like the stereo in/outs & the ability to dial in each verb with all the knobs though.

Does that run throught the effects loop or front of the amp?

Man- that looks nice-

I run it before my two Class-A amps: Orange Tiny Terror (7/15w) & Blackheart Little Giant (3/5w). My Mesa Roadster already has a decent 'verb. :)
