Lately I was starting to GAS after various other amps etc, and wasn't enjoying my tone as much.

I removed everything apart from the cable between the guitar and the amp, took everything out of the loop, and now I remember why I love the sound of single coils through an LSS so much.

It's funny how easy it is to forget that simple is good, and that even true bypass pedals change the tone a little (at least to my ears). Think I'm going to sell a bunch of stuff on eBay!

Ha! I played a party at some dudes house for a favor, and the circuits were so noisy I had to go guitar, cable to amp and toss out my pedal board. So I kicked up the gain and then rolled my gtr vol back for cleans. Wow! It was old school all over again. I probably won't do that any time soon but it was fun and somewhat challenging. I had to use alot of technique to obtain various subtleties. Well the gig was a sucess and the drunken people(Aka: fans) crowned us the best band in town.
